JAM MASTER JAY, A TRIBUTE – SHORT FILM

I built the motion graphics in this video using Photoshop and After Effects.  Examples of my motion graphic work can be seen by watching this video from :00 to :60 seconds.

Jam Master Jay, A Tribute is a short documentary film that I produced, shot and edited in the wake of Jam Master Jay’s untimely death in 2002.  When I heard the news on the radio that morning, I grabbed my video camera gear and hopped on a train to Jamaica Queens NYC and I interviewed fans of his, who assembled to pay their final respects, outside of the recording studio that he was murdered in.

I am very proud that this video has generated over 129,000 YouTube hits, and a ton of positive feedback!

I created this short film with Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. 

BAM THE LIQUID ROBOT – PROMO REEL

Bam The Liquid Robot is a promo reel that I edited for one of my clients.  Bam The Liquid Robot is a professional dancer who has performed in feature films, TV commercials, music videos. Bam also produces his own music. He asked me to cut a dancers reel from highlights of his footage over the past 20 years, over one of his own tracks. 

I am very proud that Bam’s video has generated over 761,000 YouTube hits so far!

I built the motion graphics in this video using Photoshop and After Effects.  Examples of my motion graphic work can be seen by watching this video from :00 to 15 seconds.

And Hip Hop For All is a short documentary film that I produced, shot and edited in 2002.  It is about a relatively unknown hip hop scene that exists for higher purposes. The underground movement attracts people of different colors in the spirit of unity and encourages women to compete as equals.

I created this short film with Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
