After The First 48 – Good Man Down

Here is a short form/webisode that I edited for “After The First 48 – Good Man Down” in which the horror of a murder, and the drama of an unpredictable courtroom trial are recreated. When surveillance footage is the key piece of evidence, will speculation about the footage cause the alleged killers to walk free?

In this episode, an aspiring police officer is gunned down during a vicious nightclub brawl, and it’s all caught on tape. Investigators pore over more than 80 hours of surveillance footage, hoping to identify the triggerman, but the video doesn’t show who fired the fatal shot. With so few witnesses willing to talk, the state needs to use the video to convince the jury of the events that led to this cold-blooded killing.
