In this episode, in Harris county Texas, a 41-year-old woman is killed in her home by four masked men. Investigators have an idea of who did, but can they get enough evidence to prove it? Then, when one of the defendants faces a jury, the defense turns the table and puts the Harris County Sheriffs’ department on trial.

Jeffrey Mundt and Joseph Banis began running a counterfeiting scheme in the time between their committing and arrests for the murder of Jamie Carroll.

In this episode, after a body is discovered buried in a basement for six months in an Old Louisville home, the home’s owner and his boyfriend are charged with murder. Each claims the other is responsible for the gruesome crime. In two separate trials, the shocking details of their life together come out. And all of Louisville wonders: What really happened in that house?

When surveillance footage is the key piece of evidence, will speculation about the footage cause the alleged killers to walk free?

In this episode, an aspiring police officer is gunned down during a vicious nightclub brawl, and it’s all caught on tape. Investigators pore over more than 80 hours of surveillance footage, hoping to identify the triggerman, but the video doesn’t show who fired the fatal shot. With so few witnesses willing to talk, the state needs to use the video to convince the jury of the events that led to this cold-blooded killing.

Here is a short form/webisode that I edited for “After The First 48 – Good Man Down” in which the horror of a murder, and the drama of an unpredictable courtroom trial are recreated. Relatives of Dwight Fuselier recount the impact that a letter of forgiveness from his murderer has had on them being able to find closure after his death.

In this episode, In Harris County Texas, a 38-year-old man is stabbed to death in his own home leaving behind two children and his wife. Investigators track down the suspect thanks to surveillance video and some good old fashion detective work. But when the defendant claims self defense, the state must put together a case that will convince the jury the dead man was in fact the victim and not a predator.

In this episode, an unidentified man is gunned down in the Southside of Louisville, Kentucky. With no ID on the victim and few leads, detectives are stymied.
